Untuk semua umat Buddhis di seluruh dunia, saya ucapkan Happy Kathina Day's ya all~ ^^

Nah tentu udah pada tau dong, apa itu Hari Katina??

Singkat aja, Kathina itu hari persembahan dana kepada para Bikkhu. Biasanya dilaksanakan ketika masa Vassa telah berakhir. Masa Vassa sendiri adalah masa di mana para Bhikkhu melaksanakan tekadnya untuk berdiam di suatu vihara, dan membabarkan Dhamma. Selama tiga bulan dalam massa vassa, para Bhikkhu tidak boleh pergi kemana-mana kecuali ada keperluan yang penting itu pun dibatasi paling lama meninggalkan vihara tempat bervassa selama tujuh malam.
